By signing this waiver, you acknowledge that inline and ice skating activities, as well as the use of equipment, involve inherent risks including injury, illness, and death. You agree to assume all risks, release Alien Intersport, Ltd. (aka Alien In-Line) from liability, and consent to the use of your image for promotional purposes. Please read this agreement carefully before signing.

It is my intent, as a participant in instruction, programming, events, and/or while renting or utilizing equipment provided by Alien Intersport, Ltd. (aka Alien In-Line), including any pre- or post-activities associated therewith, that I agree to the following terms:
1. Release of Liability:
I hereby release Alien Intersport, Ltd. (aka Alien In-Line), its directors, management, staff, instructors, and volunteers from all liability relating to injuries or damages that may occur during instruction, programming, events, or while renting/using equipment. By signing this agreement, I agree to hold Alien Intersport, Ltd. entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence.
2. Assumption of Risk:
I acknowledge and fully understand that in-line skating, ice skating, and all related activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, serious injury, and death. I also acknowledge risks associated with the use of equipment (including but not limited to skates, protective gear, and helmets). I affirm that I am participating voluntarily, that risks have been clearly explained to me, and that I do not have any conditions that will increase my likelihood of injury.
3. Communicable Diseases:
I acknowledge the risks of exposure to communicable diseases, including but not limited to “severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2),” which is responsible for Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), and any mutation or variation thereof. Such risks may arise directly or indirectly from my participation.
4. Personal Property:
I understand that Alien Intersport, Ltd. is not responsible for any lost, missing, or stolen items.
5. Participant Obligations:
In return for access to programming, events, and/or rental equipment, including use of skates, protective gear, and helmets if requested/provided, I agree to:
- Make every effort to obey all safety precautions, whether provided in writing or verbally.
- Ask for clarification whenever needed.
6. Photo and Media Release:
By signing this agreement, I consent to have my photograph and/or likeness taken, which may be used for advertising, promotion, and marketing purposes by Alien Intersport, Ltd. I understand that:
- I will not receive compensation for such use.
- The content may be combined with other images, text, graphics, film, audio, or audio-visual works.
- The content may be cropped, altered, or modified.
7. Waiver of Legal Rights:
By signing below, I knowingly and voluntarily forfeit any and all rights to bring a suit or claim against Alien Intersport, Ltd. (aka Alien In-Line), its directors, management, staff, instructors, and volunteers for any reason related to my participation or equipment use.
